Educate A child International

We are a community based Organization in Kasese District, Uganda with a focus on four thematic areas of Education, Health, Economic empowerment and Environmental conservation. Establishing this Organization arose form the problems the community was experiencing. For the last 40 years, Kasese and the entire Rwenzori region has been experiencing tribal and political conflicts. Additionally, since 2013, Kasese area has been experiencing floods that have had serious impact on livelihoods of people and climate change.
Kasese has seen loss of lives, poverty, disease, malnutrition, floods, landslides, orphans, widows, young mothers, loss of major infrastructure, among other issues.
Therefore, in 2016, Educate A child International was born to confront these issues.
