Financial Management and Literacy Trainer

For the past 4 years, we have been working with Village Saving and Loan associations of women targeting those poor women with no capacity to get loans from the bank because they have no mortgages. Village saving and Loan associations are a better technique on how we can increase financial inclusion and empower women to take control of their livelihoods.

These Associations need capital, training and support so that they engage in income generating activities so that their lives are improved and that of their dependents.

However, these women lack knowledge on saving, business plans, the importance of recording and how to select enterprises. The roles of the volunteer therefore will be to take them through the necessary steps on how they can grow as a saving group and how they can develop together in in an organized way.

Apart from finances, we encourage and empower these women to fight climate change.
