Joan Rose Foundation

Since 2010, the Joan Rose Foundation has set out to accomplish a modest goal: to improve the lives of vulnerable Haitian children and their families. We currently have 120 children that attend the foundation Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm, and Saturdays 11am-1pm. While at the foundation we provide food, education, clothing, medicine, love and support. Our ultimate goal is to give these children the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty that they and their families are stuck in. For some, this may involve going to college, and for others it may mean learning a trade. We operate on a case by case basis and are realistic in our hopes and expectations.
