About Program
The Joan Rose Foundation seeks qualified interns to work with our children. Interns make a minimum 6 month commitment to help our children and progress the foundation. All interns must speak Spanish and have some experience working with children.
The JRF offers a unique experience for it’s interns. We are highly flexible and encourage creating personal projects outside of required duties. Our interns have the ability to build their position as much as they’d like doing things like organizing extra classes, holding sports practice, meeting with families, improving structure and organization, designing a curriculum, etc. We also welcome those who would like to gain more experience in fundraising, grant writing, or marketing. The JRF offers a space that helps our interns build their skills with children, as well as explore their own interests and creative spirit.
We offer free housing, plus a stipend to cover the cost of living.
