Kilimanjaro Volunteers Exposure

My elective experience at the hospital was also fantastic and well organized by both Kivolex and the hospital.

This is the first time I used KIVOLEX and I'm so glad I did. I booked this Program for a girls trip and everyone was super happy with it. The package was fantastic, the continuous service / responses to my questions via email was immediate and helpful. The Volunteer program was well organised and coordinated. We also did alot tours and explored Tanzania, thanx to KIVOLEX. I said to my friends, we will definitely book our next trip with KIVOLEX. The Team at the hospital we worked with was amazing, all the doctors loved us and were so supportive. The hospital is an ideal place for a Western medical student to get some African experience. I would love to come back to this hospital.
We are looking to book again in Sept 2027 for about 16 of us to go to Tanzania again, this time it will be more than a Medical Elective!!! We cannot wait!

A superb Month exploring Tanzania. This was my first visit to Africa, and it was wonderful. We had a Volunteer coordinator and Volunteer manager to take us round & show us the volunteer placement. The accommodation was excellent, full of character, quiet & secluded. The whole program was a great mix of Volunteering with some - awe-inspiring Imperial sites, and some more recent buildings, all presented in context with details of their long stories, some truly superb museums, and some more day-to-day places of Zanzibar. There was free time for us to see some essential sites independently, and there was guidance on how to use the free time we had. All in all a great Month. KIVOLEX Volunteers is a provider who takes small groups on Volunteer trips to Tanzania, but also look to ensure that you enjoy a place as much as possible.

The combination of volunteering, walking through Historical sites in Zanzibar, meeting friendly Tanzanian villagers, swimming in warm clear waters and being fed delicious healthy Tanzania food in good company - is just a winner.
