The Lingofun program is everything I had hoped it would be. It was my first time travelling abroad and I also traveled alone which is something I was concerned about but I received plenty of help and communication to get me to the program with ease. Once there it was an absolutely fantastic time getting to meet all the Polish natives and the fellow English speakers from all around the world. I am quite the introvert personally but I still had a great time chatting, working on projects, and games.
What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Bring medicine to help with sore throats and bring enough to share to be someone's hero! You talk a lot in this program and it takes its toll. Particularly if you normally don't talk too much it will get ridiculously bad.
Also to fellow introverts this is actually a surprisingly easy setting to talk in. You might think it would feel forced or uncomfortable but as long as you relax it is a fantastic way to truly enjoy chatting with people from all over the world.
My final point of advice is to not be afraid to come alone. If you can't come with friends don't worry, the program provides them too! If you find it intimidating to head out alone consider talking with the other English speakers that are also heading to Lingofun and see if they wouldn't mind coordinating your travels.
The trip is completely worth it, don't hesitate to apply and maybe I'll see you there!
