Palestinian Union of Social Workers and Psychologists

The Palestinian Union of Social Workers and Psychologists is a formally recognised union that works both to serve the community by enhancing the quality and scope of social work provision and to aid the persona; amd professional development of members through workplace advocacy and skills trainings.

The board is comprised of volunteers from the social work profession and our limited funds are always put towards service provision and enahacement meaning that nothing is lost through bureacracy or management costs.

Social work in Palestine is of particualr importance given the effects of living under occupation on children and adults' psychology, health, daily lives and future prospects. Thefore the work that the union does in uniting and training workers, as well as supporting community initiatives is critical.
