The Peace Project Nicaragua

The Peace Project Nicaragua is a non-governmental organization that seeks to improve quality of life and economic well-being in the impoverished communities on the shores of Laguna de Apoyo, one of Nicaragua’s major tourist destinations. Working collaboratively within the community, we are expanding educational opportunities for youth and facilitating local stewardship of the environment. Funding for our initiatives comes from donors and the proceeds of the Peace Project Lodge, an accommodation for tourists and volunteers.

We rely on our volunteers to keep our various programs up and running. Your unique passions can help make a difference in this beautiful place. We are looking for volunteers with special skills like:
• Teaching English (TEFL preferred)
• Organic Gardening/Landscaping
• Art Workshops
• Marketing
• Fundraising/Grant writing
