The Peace Project Nicaragua

The Peace Project is a community organization working to expand educational opportunities, foster environmental stewardship, and facilitate community development in Laguna de Apoyo, Nicaragua. The Peace Project combines the tenets of Peace Education – the interactive process of learning to love and respect oneself, others and the environment – with classes and activities in a variety of areas including English language, art, computing and environmental stewardship. In addition to our educational initiatives, we also partner with local businesses and residents to facilitate various community development projects, including the creation of Laguna de Apoyo's first health clinic.
