Rural to Action

Rural to Action Organization is a registered, non-profit, community-based organization working towards empowering children and youths and creating sustainable social impact in rural communities in Kenya. Started in 2022 as a peer mentorship group for teen mothers guided by mentors. The group was then officially registered under the Community Groups Registration Act No. 30 of 2022 and the Kenyan Constitution as a Community-Based Organization. Founded on values of compassion, inclusivity, and sustainability, we are devoted to breaking the cycles of school-age hunger among children in rural primary schools and poverty through youth economic empowerment, access to health. Rural to Action envisions enhancing the lives of children and youths in rural Homabay communities.
