Rural to Action offers a unique volunteer experience that combines community service, cultural exchange, and community tourism to create a meaningful and lasting impact in rural communities of Homabay County, Kenya. Volunteers have the opportunity to support our school meals program, mentor young entrepreneurs, participate in community health outreach activities, facilitate skills development sessions, and contribute to environmental and sustainability initiatives. Through our community tourism program, volunteers can immerse themselves in local culture, interact with community members, experience traditional livelihoods, visit local attractions, and learn firsthand about grassroots development efforts.
