What is your favorite travel memory?

When I worked in South East Asia as an underwater guide for the amazing live-aboards of World Wide Dive and Sail, I would always sleep on deck since I've never been able to stand air conditioning.

One of my fondest memories is to wake up every morning with the sound of the anchor chain being dropped and finding myself in the middle of the ocean thinking of all the incredible sea life that I was about to discover.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

As a co-Founder and co-Director of The Shark Odyssey, now I realize how much effort and hard work involves starting your own organization, and how little I know about basically everything!

I chose to do what I do because it's what I love and what I was meant to be. For most of us 30% of our life is spent at work, so let's make of our jobs something we live for, not something we just live of.

Going into your experience abroad, what was your biggest fear, and how did you overcome it? How did your views on the issue change?

The Shark Odyssey was founded by three like-minded individuals who have been close friends for over 15 years. We have been through a lot together and we know that we make a great team.

We are knowledgeable and passionate about what we do and this is reflected in the way we are building our organization and the experiences we offer.

We always strive for the best and we know that there's always room for improvement.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

I believe that that the biggest factor for success is truly loving what you do and believing in your product. I am very proud of what I am offering to my costumers because I know it's going to change their lives for the better.

When you offer something to people with transparency, passion, and honesty it really shows and people like it.
