Trailblazer Foundation
Why choose Trailblazer Foundation?
Trailblazer Foundation serves the rural people in Siem Reap province, Cambodia. In 2004, we started with a school project, but quickly learned that water was the first priority. We have four programs - health, food security, education and economic development. It has been almost 20 years and Trailblazer has worked with more than 300 villages helping to move them from survival to sustainable. We conduct the vast majority of our projects in one of the poorest provinces in Cambodia. One of the greatest ironies, while it is the home of the world-renown Angkor Wat and almost two million tourists come through, very little of that economic influx makes its way to the nearby rural villages. As a smaller organization that is committed to doing more with less, interns, volunteers and fundraisers are vital to Trailblazer Foundation's success.
