University College Freiburg

University College Freiburg (UCF) at the University of Freiburg started its English-taught, four year Liberal Arts and Sciences Bachelor Program (LAS) in 2012. Since then, we have established a successful and attractive international, interdisciplinary offering that brings together academic traditions from North America and Europe. Embedded in a renowned public research university, UCF provides a close-knit learning community for over 300 students enrolled in our LAS Program, a Programm that emphasizes a broad interdisciplinary education, while at the same time providing for individualized academic concentrations on a high academic level. Beyond the LAS Core and Electives, the Program allows for specialization in four academic fields:
(1) Culture and History
(2) Earth and Environmental Sciences
(3) Governance
(4) Life Sciences
