Volunteer Teacher Thailand

Volunteer Teachers came out of the inspirational Tsunami Volunteer Centre's Englisj Outreach Project. It was set up in answer to requests from community leaders to help the sustainable recovery and development of the area.

Winner of the Green Award for Excellence in the volunteer project category, from the Tourism Authority of Thailand. "A well thought-out and well-managed scheme that ensures best use of the volunteers and a consistency in the lessons. Streets ahead of other teaching programmes we have seen." (Judges' comment).

Volunteers teach in poorer government schools with full backup including what you should teach each week and ready made lesson materials..
