Why choose Way More Israel?

The Heritage House was established in 1985 in order to provide a Jewish hospitality option in the Old City. Every year thousands of young Jewish people come to Israel, where they can stay in a clean, low-budget hostel. The Heritage House provides resources to help guests stay in a Jewish environment and explore their rich and deep heritage by offering optional activities, programs and workshops.

What is your favorite travel memory?

One of the most beautiful things about Way More Israel are the participants. Way More Israel hosts students from all around the globe, many individuals not knowing anyone else who has decided to participate in the program.

One of my favorite memories is the way the participants would hang out together at the end of each day, sharing their experiences with one another. By the end of the trip the group really felt like a family!

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

The best return student story isn't one I've heard, rather one I've seen. Many of the Way More Israel participants have returned to Israel on many different programs! It's great to be able to catch up with returning students, and hear about their many continued adventures.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I wouldn't hesitate to be a part of Way More Israel's Internship program! It has a great balance of professional and spiritual development.

The daily schedule is tailored to each participant's internship, maximizing their professional development opportunities, while also allowing for plenty of time to explore the country of Israel, meet up with friends and family, and engage in the community of the old city in Jerusalem!

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

Way More Israel is a unique program in Israel because it is one of the first and only programs of its kind to be located in the heart of the old city of Jerusalem!

Getting to wake up each morning in the old city, walk down ancient roadways to classes and internships, and be only a breath away from the western wall is a once in a life-time opportunity!

The team at Way More Israel works very hard to make this experience as special as possible, bringing in speakers who have spoken all around the world, arranging cultural exchanges with native Israelis, offering an immersive Hebrew language program, and pairing participants with great internships.
