Also do you have to go to a certain college to be able to study abroad? How does that work?

Nope! You don't have to speak Italian, although knowing some common words and phrases before arrival will be helpful. (You probably already know more Italian than you realize!) You will also get a crash course in the language during orientation.
Regarding your other question: since CEA is a third-party study abroad organization, you do not have to go to a certain university or college to apply.
