Are you able to travel on your own?

While our programs include many great day, overnight, and weekend excursions and cultural events in the program fee, there is still plenty of time and freedom for your own exploration and travels.

For communication and safety reasons, we do ask that if students plan on traveling independently, that they let their on-site directors know where they are going to be, for how long, and how to get in touch with them in the event of an emergency or delay.

Hi, you can travel by yourself. I traveled to a few cities on my own during the week at one point. Also, API plans weekend trips for you but you aren't necessarily required to attend so you can travel elsewhere during that time. Also during your free weekends you are free to travel.
