How many companies did you interview with before deciding on an internship?

The first time was only one interview and the second time I had one interview and another company called and said they would set up an interview but never did so basically just one as well! Hope this helps!

I actually only interviewed with the company I ended up interning for.

Hello!

I interviewed with the company I ended up interning with as well! Global Experiences was excellent with pairing me with the right company! Also, the field I wanted to be interning in was very specific, so at the time, my choices were limited. Thankfully, I was with a great company and I still keep in contact with my old boss!

I interviewed with four different companies. I did not receive an offer from the first two companies. I received offers from the last two companies and I believed that the later one is a better fit for me.

Hi Misty! We advise our interns to expect one interview. Majority of students only need to interview once. We do a good job of matching you up with a host company from the start. However, on the off chance the interview doesn’t go well or they don’t offer you the placement, we’ll discuss and move on to set up a second interview with a second company. Personally for my Florence internship abroad with GE, the first company that I interviewed with became my host employer.
