How much was the airfare?

I paid a little over 1200 from JFK to JRO (Kilimanjaro) flying Qatar. IVHQ works with people who may be able to get you a discount, but what I found on my own was cheaper.

I bought my ticket on a Tuesday/Wednesday because that’s when prices normally are lowest.

So for me to get from Calgary, Alberta, Canada to the Kilimanjaro airport in Tanzania, it cost about $2800 Canadian dollars through KLM.
