Are the high school students somewhat supervised during the “nightlife” activities ?

I'm sure every trip is set up somewhat differently but during my trip we were paired with 2 students who attended the college we were studying at. These two students were with us during the scheduled "nitghtlife" activities. They were there to show us the "hotspots" when they were asked. Other than those scheduled times (twice during the 6 week trip) we were free to go about the city at our leisure with or without them or another student. I would suggest staying in the areas you know and trying to have a buddy from the program at all times.
