How big is the average class size? Is the language barrier difficult to overcome if you do not know Italian?

class size - The average size of a class at each camp usually ranges between 8-12 students.
language barrier - The language barrier isn't that difficult. I didn't know Italian at all before arriving, but progressively you pick up words and phrases. The best part is the camps are English speaking only.
