What are the day to day routines like?

How are the accommodations? Is there free time or things to do on the weekends? Do you have to be a student to be involved with Rustic Pathways?

How are the accommodations? Is there free time or things to do on the weekends? Do you have to be a student to be involved with Rustic Pathways?
Day-to-day routines varied quite a bit: some days we spent a lot of time in transit, other days we spent the days out and about exploring the various surroundings. For what it’s worth, mealtimes were fairly standard and consistent, even if the rest of our days weren’t. Beyond this, depending on the location, we sometimes had more structure in our days, with organized activities or group sightseeing, but other days we had more time to ourselves to explore the city on our own terms, relatively (within the rules of the program). The program wasn’t really on either extreme of this spectrum: either heavily controlled or entirely free-time.
