Is a TEFL certificate required prior to this program, or is it obtained through class instruction?

Thanks for this, David. No, no experience in TEFL or teaching is required prior to taking this course. All you need to know for teaching English as a foreign language will be covered in the program. Most of the trainees are people with little or no experience, so you don't have to worry :)
