If I get a 416 Special Program visa would I be able to travel in Australia before or after my internship?
Hi Maria! You 100% can travel in Australia before or after your internship. There were a few members of my group who did both. I will say that the perks of the program are only available during your designated program dates (airport pickup, dinner and other excursions). However it's been a few years since my program so I would confirm with your contact to make sure.
I made the choice to not travel outside of my program dates and I REALLY regret it. If you have the time and money to spare, definitely do it!
