Captured during a TEAN excursion to Busan, this photo showcases our visit to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple during our overnight trip. This temple holds particular significance in South Korea as it stands as one of the rare Buddhist temples situated by the sea, whereas most temples in the Korean peninsula are typically nestled high in the mountains.
As a Benjamin A. Gilman Scholar, I had the privilege of visiting the Public Diplomacy Section at the US Embassy Seoul, joining fellow scholars for insightful discussions. The session covered topics such as US Government career opportunities, safety and security in Korea, and provided a unique opportunity to engage in direct conversations with Foreign Service Officers.
Captured on my farewell day in South Korea. My final class for the semester concluded with a visit to the Seoul Urban Life Museum. Swiftly after, I rushed back to my dorm, ready to head to the airport for my homeward-bound flight.
