On a scale of 1 to 10 how hard was the Skype interview (1 being hardest and 10 easiest)? And what is the age requirement to au pair overseas?

The application is pretty straightforward. You'll upload a few documents (intro letter, enrollment form, a few photos, diploma, etc) and then have a video call with your InterExchange coordinator, which is pretty laid back. It's meant to learn more about you and your experience, go over some key points about the program, and answer your questions. Once you're accepted you can set up video chats with families and decide which one is a good fit. Also, you'll need to complete a background check in the U.S. (free and online) and a separate one in Australia (this one has a cost). Visit our website for an overview of the application process.
