Up close and personal with the elephants! This elephant was rescued from a lumber mill. She was used for heavy labor and you can notice her bottom front foot is broken - it re-healed improperly and the elephant is now permanently disabled. The retirement parks provide a wonderful place for her to live out the rest of her days.
