Study Abroad UAL

I was also able to meet other students just like myself and create beautiful memories with people, who now are my friends! This abroad experience was unique for me because this was my first time traveling abroad, so you can imagine I was a bit nervous, but the staff of Study Abroad helped me so much! Indeed, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The excursions they plan were very well planned and very fun! I loved the Flamenco Show, but also the visit to Granada.

The University of Almeria was also an amazing campus with good professors that encouraged us to learn. Now I can say I speak Spanish quite fluently.

I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone who has the opportunity to do it!

The Best Study Abroad in Spain

I had a great experience due to the kind staff, the friends I made here, and the amazing experiences in Almeria.
This program helped me to improve my Spanish immensely! I learned so much about the language, culture, and agriculture in Spain. The professors were very helpful, really wanted you to learn the subject. We visited different companies in the sector and I was fascinated, seeing the things that I’m studying in a practical way.

I was also able to travel to many other cities in Spain, for example, I had the opportunity to visit the breathtaking Cabo de Gata!

Overall, I loved this program. It helped me a lot to get out of my comfort zone, making me a stronger and more emphatic person. Being in this program has really changed me as a person. Now, I have new friends that I love so much.

Everyone should study abroad!

Study Abroad, UAL :)

I could not have asked for a better program for study abroad! It provided me with an incredible opportunity, it helped me to discover and to achieve so many good things: I met people that now are my friends, I learn a lot, I developed my academic skills! It opened my job opportunities for sure, also thanks to the professors, whom I’m grateful for. The multiple cultural activities offered were fantastic, indeed my favorite is the visit to Cabo de Gata!
So overall all it was such a great experience!

The best program I could ask for :)

I participated in the Study Abroad Winter School program to study horticulture.
The staff was so helpful throughout the whole process, they are incredibly kind and brilliant. The classes I took always kept me interested, I enjoyed the methodology, the program, and most of all, the professors. Also, the people I met in Almeria were some of the nicest I have ever met in my life.
This program opens your job opportunities not only in Mexico but also in the world.
I will cherish my memories for the rest of my life :) Take the chance!

Unforgettable experience!

It was a very positive experience that I will carry in my heart foreveeeeeer! 😍
I was able to improve my academic skills, learn about a new culture, deepen my knowledge of horticulture, and of course, make new friends!!
The Study Abroad staff made me feel at home with their attention and kindness. 😁
In those weeks, I really got to know Spanish culture in-depth: I had the opportunity to not just only visit Almeria, but also Granada and Cabo de Gata!

I really enjoyed it, I would do it again! 😍

No place like Almeria!

I did a 2-week course on Business and Entrepreneurship and it was great! During just two weeks we got to enjoy a pretty complete academic program, full of activities and company visits. Professors were very approchable and helpful. Also, I got awarded about 3ECTS, which was really helpful later to finish my degree.

The cultural program was quite interesting. Almeria is not a very tourist city, so it was wonderful walking around and discovering local shops, small businesses, random museums... University of Almeria and the city are the perfect place for a summer course!

The only thing I missed was good coffee for morning breakfast, but I discover a pretty nice coffee shop downtown just before leaving!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Get out there and have a wonderful experience! Don't be afraid of not knowing Spanish or whatever, people is very friendly and eveything will go smooth!

Wanna come back!

When I applied for this summer school, I wanted to learn about the business sector in Almeria while improving my Spanish skills, and these expectations were totally fulfilled!

For those of you who has not heard much about Almeria, you may know that its main business is based on Agriculture. It is impressive to see how this sector makes the province growth. All visits we had during the course really gave us an example of the importance of the agrifood industry in Business.

Besides that, we also learnt strategies and methods to deal with the most recent challenges on international business. We had lots of interactive activities in classes and communication with professors was very good.

Most important: Almeria is a wonderful city. Living costs are not expensive at all and its beaches are gorgeous!

What was your funniest moment?
Having a bath with all my friends in the beaches of Cabo de Gata Natural Park. It was amazing!

Really enjoyed!

Before coming to UAL, my goals were to learn Spanish, to make friends and to have fun, and all those goals were fulfilled!

Teachers and team were very supportive. Classes were also very interesting, with lots of practical activities, indoors and outdoors. Interaction with professors was also very positive. Personally, I really enjoyed one of the academic visits to an olive oil company. There, we could leran about how to make international trade with one of the most famous agrifood products in Spain, while keeping its quality and essence. And we got to try olive oil later, that was amazing!

What would you improve about this program?
I think maybe courses should begin later than 9am.

Great Summer School on Business!

I did this Summer School to have fun and improve my skills on marketing and negociation, and all my expectations were fulfilled!

The team was reachable and helpful, as lots of their mails and messages made our stay easier! The cultural program was also amazing. The guide was very interesting and he offered us limonade!

Companies' visits were also really good. The tasting experience of tomatoes and olive oil were great!

Overall, it was a very nice experience and I would recommend it for sure!

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
More native English speaker would be appreciated
