I worked with Kyungjin, and she was nothing short of pleasant. The whole experience from beginning to end was a breeze, and the school, a gem!

The paperwork, and everything in between was easy. I had a webcam chat with her as an initial introduction, and she was incredibly pleasant. The school, and I can’t emphasize this enough, but the school and people within were extremely helpful and kind. I never felt out of place, or afraid to ask questions, as no matter what the issue, I always felt respected and never looked down upon.

The Travel Overseas staff was helpful and responsive to all my questions. They found me a job very quickly and I could not be happier with them. The school I work for is a standard private academy overseen by a larger company. They pay on time, are fair with their work conditions and hours, give support for new teachers, and are generally professional. There is a team atmosphere here which helps everyone feel supported. However, one big negative is the lack of multimedia support in the classroom. We do not even have audio players for the audio in the textbook, and much of the audio in the textbooks cannot be accessed. The textbooks are very old and outdated. There are a lot of traditional resources such as flashcards, but this is one area that really limits teaching. Lastly, sometimes work will become busy with almost no hours in the day due to writing report cards. This happens about every two months. The kids are great and the Korean staff are extremely helpful in assisting newcomers to Korea. I would recommend this job for someone looking for an entry level position in Korea.

The recruiter I was in contact with was very nice, very sweet, and he helped me with many many things which made the entire daunting like process much easier. I would definitely recommend T&T for anyone wanting to teach English specifically in South Korea. After applying, I literally found myself teaching English in South Korea. Wild man, wild. The hagwon that I was hired by is also very nice. The director is a really nice guy who has.been very helpful. The other teachers have been very helpful as well and silly. The kids all love them. Of course it's not perfect but you've gotta take the ups with the downs. I could very well see myself staying for a full contract or more. I think for a couple of years at least.

Throughout the entire process of getting a visa, setting up interviews, all the way to boarding the plane, I received so much help and support from Jaemin and the Travel and Teach team. There's a lot that goes into preparing to live and work abroad, and I would have been lost without T&T. I am into my first week of teaching and alread love my school, the students, my coworkers, and the area where I love. Jaemin helped set up my arrival in Korea as well as traveling from the airport to my current city. I also got loads of helpful information about things like setting up my phone to use internationally, getting an ARC and ID card, and getting in contact with the current foreign teachers at my school. I found out that the other foreign teachers also worked with Travel & Teach and had similarly great experiences. Couldn't be happier!

I've been working with Jaemin for a few months and it's been such an easy and fun process! It was really nice to have one person dedicated to helping me from start to finish through the process. Jaemin has always provided fast and thorough responses, often anticipating questions before I could even ask them. He set up multiple interviews for me to shop around different jobs and provided all the information I could ask for to make the best decision for my wants/needs. After I chose a job Jaemin/Travel and Teach helped with me through the entire visa process and sent over a packet to help aid me with the move. Everything has been very organized and easy. Travel and Teach removed all the stress I had about starting this new adventure. I can't recommend them enough!

I am about to board the plane. I have been looking forward to teach abroad ever since I graduated last December. Because of documents not being ready in time I was not able to obtain a position as a teacher through a public school. This did not make me give up, back in August I came across Travel&Teach. They were my last hope in becoming a teacher in South Korea. Travel&Teach were very nice and helpful throughout my entire process. Jaemin was able to answer all the questions I had and help me find the best school based on what I was looking for.
This review is for those who are looking for a sign to tell them to whether or not to try Travel&Teach.

He was quick to respond if I had questions and addressed all of my concerns. The school I work at now is the perfect fit for me according to my initial desires/needs. So far I am also pleased with my location, housing, and the school's program and director. I feel that I can really get involved well here in the way I want. Absolutely incredible, I couldn't have done it without them!!! They organised everything and were always available to answer any questions, big or small. From day one there service was incredible, I couldn't recomend this company enough. They helped with everything from understanding the visa process. Helping throughout the process, to organising the interview and tips for that to arrival information. They also provide information on what to do and see while in South Korea.
