6 Months As an Intensive Student at Thats Mandarin

The first day I arrived at Thats Mandarin I heard the words,"你好！＂From that second I wanted to give up learning Chinese and go back home. I could not understand what my teacher was saying.And I thought Chinese was hard as a stone.

However, after 6 months it was a different story. I came to China not knowing even a single word of Chinese but after six months, I was able to reach HSK　Level 4 and started learning Business Chinese.

There is only one thing that I realised which made achieve thisgoal - it was the teachers! Young, passionate, dedicated, listening, understanding and continuous improvement are some of the many character traits my teachers embodied. Inside the classroom, they created an atmosphere where you pushed yourself as a student to be eager to learn more and ask more questions. Even at times where you forgot a single word learned a minute ago, they will passionately and supportively wait for you to remember the word without portraying any sad face. I found that really profound！

As am leaving, I will continue learning Chinese most by myself. The foundation in which Thats Mandarin teachers built in me would made it possible for me to continue learning. They tought me the fundamental building blocks of Chinese.
