A few tips to make the most of your time abroad

Studying abroad was the best decision I've ever made. University of Limerick (UL) is known for their clubs and societies, which is the best way to get to meet people. I, as someone who loves the outdoors, joined the Outdoor Pursuits Club (OPC) and spent basically all my time with them. This allowed me to see the natural wonders of Ireland that I never would have seen without the locals taking me there. My biggest tips is to get to know the Irish. They are some of the friendliest people I have ever met and as locals, they will be able to shows the "real" Ireland, not just the tourist attractions. And, step out of your comfort zone and immerse yourself in the Irish culture. This is how you will grow the most as a person and gain the most from your experience, making lifelong memories and friendships!
