I did the hybrid program, which involved me doing readings and assignments with the assistance of my instructor and joining the class for the final 2 weeks. This flexibility really worked for my schedule. Manuel Antonio is an adorable beach town that was a great place to relax at after the rigorous training every day. My host mom was so amazing and accommodating and I cannot speak highly enough of her cooking. Be prepared for a lot of intense work that improves you so much as a teacher. I learned so much and it was totally worth it and I feel extremely prepared.

I would have liked for the hybrid program to be more integrated into the normal class. Things like sending me the schedule of what to expect and making sure that I received the informational emails throughout the course would have made me feel more prepared and on the ball, rather than constantly struggling to catch up to what I was was supposed to be doing.
