I came to That's Mandarin one month ago and I am quite satisfied so far. I had studied Chinese in a University before, but I do not recommend this opportunity. Now, while I am a student in That's Mandarin, I can mention several advantages of the school:

- English-speaking staff: Unfortunately, that is not to be taken for granted. The first time I called my old University's Admission Office, the secretary just hanged up after a few seconds, because I did not speak any Chinese back then. But at That's Mandarin, the whole application process was simple & available in English.

- The staff cares well about the students: My visa-documents arrived very fast & the Consultant even helped me to get a Chinese phone-card. Another University I had applied for did not even pick up the phone & ignored all the E-mails, including the ones written in Chinese. So even a Native Chinese-friend could not help me out with that.

Small classes: In a small class there is much more interaction with the students compared to a normal classroom with 20 people. My teacher is able to focus on the individual mistakes and tries to fix them.

Flexible hours: This aspect might be interesting for foreigners with a regular job, who can not participate in a class in the morning. That's Mandarin is open until 21:00 o'clock, so if you have to work during the daytime, just take your classes when you come back from your job.

If one keeps in mind the good service, the tuition fee is really justified in my opinion. I would also recommend to buy some books to study at home in your free time & to practise the Mandarin-skills in conversations with Chinese friends.

Would you recommend this program?
Yes, I would
