Chinese class as a beginner

I took one week for fun and actually would have liked to stay longer. The location and rooms are great, teachers are very kind and the groups were always maximum 3 people. The platform "Nihaocafe" made learning at home really easy and the classes were structured super well. The price is quite high but that's usual for language classes. They offer various events linked to Chinese culture and I was even allowed to bring my friend who isn't signed in the school。 As an expat in Shanghai its not only a great way to learn chinese but also to meet people! Recommend.

Excellent Mandarin Course, Great Teachers

I have been studying at That's Mandarin School in Shanghai for half a year, and my experience has been fantastic. The environment here is welcoming and conducive to learning. The teachers are highly professional, patient, and genuinely dedicated to helping students improve.

What I find especially valuable is the teaching approach. Lessons are not confined to the classroom; we also have opportunities to go out and practice in real-life settings. This hands-on experience has been incredibly helpful for truly improving my Chinese language skills.

The school also offers great extra resources. For example, I can use videos on their official WeChat account to study Chinese anytime. The videos are fun and easy to follow, helping me review and learn at my own pace. In addition, there are monthly cultural activities like Mahjong classes, tea ceremonies, and festival celebrations. These activities help me learn more about Chinese culture and make studying here even more enjoyable.

This school has made learning Chinese both effective and fun. I’ve improved my language skills a lot and gained a deeper understanding of the culture. I highly recommend it!

Practical Mandarin for Everyday Use

The teachers here are very professional, and their classes are always buzzing with energy. They've really opened my ears to practical Mandarin phrases, to the point where I can now book hotels and inquire about prices with confidence. The course content is diverse, making learning fun and engaging. The other students here are also quite interesting. We chat and practice Chinese together during breaks. By the way, the activities here are very diverse, which have helped me integrate into the local community more quickly and learn about many fascinating cultures. If I come back to China, I'd like to continue studying here.

A highly immersive and efficient chinese learning school

Learning Mandarin at That’s Mandarin Beijing has been an inspiring experience. The teachers use innovative methods, like role-playing and storytelling, to keep lessons engaging. In just four months, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my confidence and fluency.

The Nihao Cafe platform is an integral part of the learning experience. It allows me to easily review lessons and track my growth, making the learning process both organized and efficient.

I especially appreciate the school’s focus on cultural immersion. Group outings and interactive activities have helped me apply what I’ve learned in class to real-life situations. This hands-on approach is what sets That’s Mandarin apart from other language schools.

What was your funniest moment?
role play with my teacher, change my jacket into a proper size.

I like the teaching method here.

Honestly, I really like the teaching method here at the school. Because we have small classes, so it's very easy to build a relationship with our teachers. And whenever you have a problem you just ask them and they would basically make the whole lesson based on your problem, or maybe if you have any problem you can just maybe say a little bit and ask them and contact them and be like: “ Oh, I do not understand this part of the lesson. I cannot use this grammar rule could you please help me?” and they are always very helpful and very quick in helping you.

And then I also like the fact that we have a lot of chances to discuss in class, so we have the chance to express our opinions and try to talk about nowadays topics or whatever during classes.

I love Learning Chiense here.

I love being a foreign student here in China. First of all, I love it here in Hangzhou, the environment; I love the school, where I'm studying; and I love the weather, and Chinese people are so nice and welcoming. So I've always felt very welcomed since day one that I've been here.

During my free time I usually spend a lot of time studying Chinese because I really want to improve the language since I'm here, but then I've also got the chance to practice some sport that are very like common here in China like badminton or basketball or what else I think I've tried a couple. and I also like to work out but the best thing is just go around the lake here in Hangzhou, in Xihu and just go for a walk or even just biking in the city is amazing. So you can just enjoy just going out.

Nihao Cafe

As a new student at the Chinese language school, my learning experience here has been truly amazing! Not only have I quickly improved my Chinese language skills, but I've also gained a deep understanding of Chinese culture and traditions.

The teachers are all very professional and patient, using a variety of fun activities and games to make our learning relaxed and enjoyable. I particularly like the small class size here, as it feels like everyone gets enough attention and help.

The school's facilities are also great, with a well-resourced library and bright, comfortable classrooms. Moreover, the school organizes various cultural activities, allowing me to experience the charm of Chinese culture, such as calligraphy and tea ceremonies, in my spare time.

I feel that That'sMandarin is not just a place to learn Chinese, but also a platform for cultural exchange. Here, I've made friends from all over the world; we study and explore together, making this experience truly invaluable.

In summary, I am very satisfied with everything here and highly recommend it to everyone.
