I'm speaking Korean now!!

I landed in Korea about four months ago to start teaching English here and was referred to this program through my recruiting agency. I didn't think I would need to speak Korean here but I was very wrong!
I don't speak any other languages but am actually now speaking some Korean after watching the first few sets of videos in level 1. I love practicing at restaurants, with my Korean co-teachers or with my students. I feel like I'm able to communicate enough to get by, but want to learn more to feel more comfortable in fuller conversations.

What is very helpful (and they reference this in the lessons) is that Koreans are always willing to speak with me, even though my level is still low. I think they are just happy to hear a foreigner like me try!

Overall, I would recommend this program for sure!!
