Amazing Volunteer Opportunity!

After finishing my first year in college, I wanted to spend my summer doing something fulfilling that would also help me build skills that I could apply toward my major (Child and Family Studies). Hibiscus Travels helped me do just that! Not only was I able to give back to the underprivileged youth in the community, but I was also exposed to the rich culture embedded in Costa Rican life! My host family was fantastic and made me feel like I was more of a family member than a temporary traveler. They made an effort to meet all of my needs and constantly provided me with valuable information on the biodiversity and history of Costa Rica.
