Unique opportunity to gain insight into other countries and cultures

I've volunteered 4 times with Angloville - two in Hungary and two in Poland. I've enjoyed each of them. No two sessions are alike. The opportunity to meet people from the participant countries and other anglo volunteers from around the world is truly unique and provides perspectives into different countries and cultures I would not have gained otherwise.

Even if they don't realize it, everyone participating is an ambassador and representative of their country and city regardless if a participant or volunteer. I've learned people are people are people with similar needs, wants and desires regardless of country of origin. The volunteers are sincerely interested in the participants succeeding and getting as much as possible from their experience. I'm looking forward to my next session.
