Wonderful experience!

Doing TEFL at Manuel Antonio was such an amazing experience! Everything exceeded my expectations! The location of the institute is beautiful, the atmosphere so friendly and welcoming that you instantly feel at home and part of the team, and the teaching standards are really high! The programme is very intense and demanding, but you get all the help and support you need from the friendly and easily approachable institute staff. The best part of the training was my teacher Jackie who inspired me every single day – not only through her competence, expertise and professionalism, but also through her humour and creativity. Jackie has been a true role model for me, who in a unique and patient way combines both challenge and support while teaching. It was really tough at times, but Jackie’s genuine care and interest in our progress, her empathy, insight, and passion for teaching, kept us all going. I have learned from her that good teaching is not only about being a language expert, but also a mentor and a role model, who guides, motivates and encourages a life-long passion for learning.
