Review
My experience learning Arabic in Palestine was rewarding; I became conversational with the assistance of two knowledgeable teachers, Shahd and Marwa. The learning materials were abundant and relevant for the daily topics. When not studying, I toured Al-Khalil (Hebron) and Bethlehem, meeting local people in restaurants and shisha bars. As part of the program, there is an opportunity for solo travel alongside guided tours to refugee camps and other cultural sites such as Al-Ibrahimi mosque, Banksy's famous Walled-Off hotel and the Church of the Nativity; the site of Jesus' birth!

I would only change two elements;
The itinerary/daily structure was looser than I expected, rather than a dedicated time for lessons, study, and free time. Perhaps having a written timetable would allow for a more efficient use of teacher's and students' time and help new volunteers know what to expect.
Housing - More options for host families (I didn't manage to get one, but I do hope to next time I visit!) and further investment in the bedding and cooking amenities.
The above didn't detract from my enjoyment of the program at all, though I know they are things I'd love to see implemented in the future and I feel would add value to the program.
