A holistic course

I am grateful to have had the TESOL experience. I always thought I intuitively knew what was the right thing to do when it comes to teaching. Thanks to this course, I was able to deepen my understanding and really hone in on how to apply it in my real-life teaching experience. While taking the course, I landed my first gig as a language instructor. This experience allowed me to drill down through cases that would work or wouldn't work, depending on each student or class. It also helped me approach teaching my mom in a more effective and levelheaded way, considering her immigrant experience. Delighted to be now equipped with the tools to become a more proficient teacher. I had to take breaks from the course due to health issues, but all in all, the experience was smooth sailing. Ready to create an impactful learning environment and excited to kick off my teaching journey, I am thankful for this valuable opportunity. Thanks a bunch, TESOL!
