I really enjoyed this TESOL course because it gave me all the basics I needed to start teaching English. The lessons were clear and easy to follow. I learned how to plan lessons, manage a classroom, and explain grammar in simple ways. The best part - i’ve already used what I learned in real classes at my college, and it’s working! The course gave me the confidence to stand in front of students and teach effectively.The tutors were kind enough to answer all of my questions took.
If you wish to teach abroad using this certificate, you have the option to order a hard copy with an apostille.

What would you improve about this program?

Personally I would like to see more hands-on teaching practice in this course.

I participated in the TEAL certificate program training. It was truly an enjoyable experience. It gave me a new perspective and is a reliable platform. I highly recommend it to all teachers who wish to improve themselves in the field of education. Once again, thank you!

Other certificate programs are waiting for me—for example, the TEOL certificate program. This will truly be an important training because I have not received professional education before. A teaching career is very important for us, and we need to take advantage of new opportunities.

The course is very useful. It has been well-designed and is easy to learn. It also has very good information on how to proceed with the basics of teaching the English language. The course basically covers all the aspects of teaching the language to non-native speakers, or teaching it as a second language. A number of simple tricks also make the process of teaching easier, something with future teachers can also use in their own teaching methodology. Moreover, the course also helped me refresh my own basics of the English language.

The platform is good; the content is very helpful and easy to handle. Only there were some quiz questions, which were confusing as another option also could be possible as a correct answer, in my opinion. I liked it that there was no time stress, you have so much time as you need to prepare yourself for quizzes or to learn without time pressure, I liked also lots of word expressions, which can definitely be useful for teaching. Also, the videos were a good change from reading and concentration on practical types of teaching and kids' behaviour.

Thank you for such a great opportunity. I have learned lots of tricks in Teaching online module, I would like to start teaching online. I have graduated my master's in pedagogics in 2000 and did not have a chance to practice. This is a good opportunity to start my own business. I would like to apply offline too as did teach at school, a kindergartetn and university too and online teaching will be my additional job. All tutorial materials, thoughts, suggestions, the flashcards ideas are awesome. I will definitely refer to all my friends.

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?

Engaging students, this is the challenging part, specifically for online tutors, however, nothing is impossible. Hard work, creativity and willing to share your knowledge with your students is a great opportunity to help others.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?

Stay open, stay patient, and practice as you go. This program gives you powerful tools, but the real growth happens when you apply them. Take every opportunity to practice teaching, even informally with friends or family. Don’t worry about being perfect — focus on connecting, communicating, and improving step-by-step. The more energy and positivity you bring, the more you (and your future students) will get out of it. And remember: every great teacher started somewhere. Enjoy the journey!

The platform was easy to use and offered clear lessons to build from as a language teacher with video examples of best practise. It's a great place to start.

I would have liked an opportunity to submit modular lesson plans for feedback from existing teachers as part of the learning experience. I could have reached out to the teachers as suggested, and in looking back on my experience, I should have made better use of this service.

I was happy to discover that I could submit demo video for review as part of my future job search.

I would have asked more questions about specific modular examples.

I am so happy with this program, it helped me to find a job and to grow in my career area. Even giving me new opportunities in life to create a new kind of income, I highly recommend this platform for any kind of person who really wants to achieve different things all around the world.

Take an opportunity and try new challenges to achieve whatever you want. I started teaching English in China, and now with a Certificate, believe me, you can reach any kind of teaching job around the world, even online (home office,) traveling and living your dream life.

What was your funniest moment?

I was so surprised how fast you can do it, you schedule your time to complete it but at the beginning I thought it will take me for ever. Which it is funny to remember how I felt because now I have it, you have no idea how fast I got the certificate after all.

Going into your experience abroad, what was your biggest fear, and how did you overcome it? How did your views on the issue change?

Going into my experience teaching English as a foreign language overseas, my biggest fear was not being able to effectively connect with and engage my students due to language barriers and cultural differences. I worried that my limited experience in new cultural settings might make it challenging to communicate and build rapport.

I overcame this fear by investing time in learning about the local culture and customs, actively seeking feedback from students and colleagues, and adapting my teaching methods to better suit their needs. As I gained more experience and confidence, I realized that being flexible and open to learning from my students greatly enhanced my teaching effectiveness. My views on the issue evolved as I understood that building relationships and understanding local contexts are key to successful teaching abroad.

Answer: One memorable experience from teaching English abroad was organizing a cultural exchange event where my students and I shared stories and traditions from our respective cultures.
