First Busan, Next Thailand!

I came to teach in South Korea with The Fewer Things in September 2023 and I could not have had a more amazing and rewarding experience! As a first-time traveler I was so grateful for all of the support and guidance through every step of the process, from the document-gathering to the school interviews to the actual move. When I encountered some issues towards the end of my contract (independent of TFT), Jaemi and the rest of the team were so responsive and willing to help.

I was placed in the exact location that I was hoping for in a central area of Busan and with the age group that I wanted to teach. The teaching was so fun and rewarding, and I improved so much as a teacher and learned so much about adapting to a new culture. I was able to travel around Korea, have so many unique experiences, and meet amazing friends. I'm so grateful to TFT for giving me this opportunity- it was truly life-changing! As my time in Korea is wrapping up, I am getting ready to head to Thailand next as part of the TFT Clubhouse, and I couldn't be more excited!
