I can highly recommend LTL Beijing

Review
I stayed at LTL Beijing for a month in summer 2024 to study Mandarin
-The school was helpful throughout our experience with them, including the Visa application process, where we got a lot of support, including the Visa type and application time
-Contact with the school was very good starting from enrolment
-A lot of information was provided regarding what I should bring to China, and what apps I should install, prior to my arrival in China.
-I was able to contact LTL staff through Wechat before my trip
-Airport pickup was clear, quick and convenient
(same for Airport drop-off)
-I was informed about my accommodation address and details before my arrival
-Accommodation was very good, with a large room with a lock, a comfortable bed, Air Conditioning and a beautiful view of some of Beijing's tallest skyscrapers
-My host family was very friendly and helpful, and was able to accommodate my vegan diet
-The food, unsurprisingly for China, was delicious, both at my host family, where I had breakfast and dinner, and at the school, where food was ordered for lunch every day
-On my first day, I was shown how to get to school by my host family
-Distance from school was half an hour either by foot or by bus
-We were provided with a Beijing public transport card, with more than enough money on it for the duration of my trip
-The learning environment is really good: professional and modern-looking, with water as well as hot drinks available at all times to students
-The school is in an office building, which means there are plenty of places to get food at break, which I found convenient. However, the corridor, which I took when the elevator waiting times were too long, which is quite often, smells of cigarette smoke and is not the cleanest, but of course this is outside the school's control
-I found the lessons both challenging and rewarding, and my teacher knew well how to achieve this. She also understood the importance of speaking, and committed at least an hour a day to allow me to practise expressing myself in Chinese
-I found the after-school and Saturday trips really fun and varied, as we went to everywhere from a Hot Pot restaurant to the summer palace
-At no point in my trip did I feel unsafe- Beijing is safer than most Western cities in terms of crime- and we were accompanied by teachers on our trips
-Staff was really helpful in resolving unexpected issued, and spoke very good English
