An Amazing TEFL Experience in Madrid

Coming from Canada, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I signed up for the TEFL program in Madrid, but it ended up being one of the best experiences of my life. The course was challenging, for sure, but in the best way possible. I learned so much, not just about teaching but also about myself. The trainers were super supportive and always there to give feedback or help with anything I was struggling with.

The teaching practice was definitely the highlight for me. There’s nothing like being in front of a classroom of real students to push you out of your comfort zone. By the end, I felt confident and ready to take on any classroom. Plus, Madrid was just amazing. The city has so much energy, and there’s always something to do — whether it’s trying tapas at a local bar, exploring the beautiful streets, or just hanging out at Retiro Park.

If you’re thinking about doing this program, just be prepared to put in the work. It’s not a walk in the park, but it’s worth it. You’ll leave with more than just a certificate — you’ll have amazing memories, new friends, and a lot of new skills.
