120 Hour TESOL/TEFL

I have just completed the TESOL/TEFL online course, and I am grateful for the valuable insights and skills it has provided me to become an effective English language teacher. The course covered essential areas such as lesson planning, classroom management, and different teaching methodologies, and I now feel more confident in creating structured, engaging lessons for my future students.

I particularly appreciated learning how to adapt lesson plans to various student needs using methods like PPP (Present, Practice, Produce) and TBL (Task-Based Learning). I now understand the importance of using concept-checking questions (CCQs) to gauge student comprehension, as well as how to balance the teaching of grammar, vocabulary, and language skills. Additionally, the focus on classroom management strategies has equipped me with the tools to handle diverse classroom environments and motivate students effectively.

The course also gave me a deeper understanding of the role of technology in language teaching, and I’m excited to incorporate digital tools into my lessons. I now feel prepared to assess students appropriately, providing both formative and summative feedback, and creating a student-centered learning environment that fosters confidence and participation.

Overall, I feel much more prepared to begin teaching and look forward to applying these skills in real-world classroom settings. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to develop a comprehensive understanding of TESOL/TEFL methodologies.
