A great course to enter the ESL world!

When I enrolled in the TEFL Academy Level 5 course I had very little knowledge of the ESL world. I had done extensive research on ESL courses and finally selected this one. The first Unit felt like Gibberish to me, honestly. I realised I had just stepped into a whole world I did not know existed. How daunting! However, for a long time, I had wanted to do a course in ESL teaching in order to gain the freedom to work from almost anywhere in the world. What I discovered along the way though, proved much more valuable than getting a certificate to benefit career-wise. The course offered so many interesting facts and viewpoints on learning and teaching language, and provided sufficient examples and scenarios for me to get a deeper understanding of the ESL world. The student support and markers were also extremely reliable, prompt and courteous; I always felt at ease making any queries or requests. By the end of the course, I felt very equipped to begin my career in ESL teaching, and I am starting to feel like a part of this wide and curious, open and wonderful world of ESL!
