Taking a gap year with Go Abroad China was one of the best choices I’ve made. I split my time between studying Mandarin and interning at a local marketing company in Shanghai. Not only did my Chinese improve significantly, but I also gained real work experience in an international setting. The cultural activities, weekend trips, and the amazing people I met made every moment meaningful. This program helped me discover more about myself and what I want for my future. I came back home more independent, focused, and globally aware.
