Adventure of a lifetime

My experience with the GVI Marine Conservation program in Fiji was just as extraordinary as my first trip with GVI, proving that the quality of their programs never wavers. Over two weeks, I gained invaluable hands-on experience through diverse surveys, from marine megafauna and crown-of-thorns monitoring to dolphin boat surveys and mangrove assessments. Each activity was both highly educational and deeply meaningful, giving me practical skills that will directly support my future career in marine biology.

The staff were exceptionally knowledgeable, supportive, and passionate, creating an inspiring environment where learning and contribution went hand in hand. Just like in my previous program, the sense of community was incredible—I had the chance to work alongside like-minded individuals whose dedication made the experience even more memorable. Once again, GVI has exceeded my expectations, and I am confident this will not be my last project with them.
