My gap year in China through GAC was an incredible journey of self-discovery and adventure. I spent six months in Beijing interning at a digital marketing agency while studying Mandarin in the evenings. The program's flexibility allowed me to travel during breaks, exploring from the ancient streets of Xi'an to the stunning landscapes of Guilin. What made this experience special was the perfect balance of structure and freedom - GAC provided reliable support with housing and logistics while encouraging me to explore independently. I returned home with improved language skills, valuable work experience, and memories that will last a lifetime.
